ABOUT
THE ALABAMA MARINES FOUNDATION

RACING FOR A PURPOSE
The Alabama Marines Foundation is a nonprofit entity composed of Marines and others who share its interests in upholding the traditions and principles in the United States Marine Corps and the naval service. The organization works to recognize and honor Marines, past and present, who have a connection to the state of Alabama and who have honorably served our country.
The Alabama Marines Foundation has provided over $375,000 to Alabama veterans since 2012. This support includes emergency grants for auto repairs, endowed scholarships for children of veterans, establishing a VA Clinic on the University of Alabama campus, and much more.
Every Tuscaloosa Gauntlet participant contributes to helping an Alabama veteran. Here are more ways your monetary contribution will support the Alabama Marines Foundation:
-Financial support to wounded warriors
-Financial support to student veteran organizations at UA, AU, and Stillman College
-Commissioning of bronze memorial busts for Alabama services members KIA
